Defending champions 4Thrives exit PMGO with 11 points

4Thrives’ PMGO title defence ended in the group stage on 21 October. The Season 1 champions finished 16th in Group B in Lahore with 11 points from six matches, according to the final tables published by TalkEsport and Sportsdunia.

Their total comprised eight elimination points and three placement points. Alter Ego Ares held the final Survival Stage place in 14th with 14 points, three ahead of 4Thrives. Team NEXT also finished on 11 and were eliminated alongside the hosts.

Vampire advance, Alter Ego get another chance

At the other end of the table, Wolves led with 64 points, one ahead of Vampire Esports. ULF Esports, The MongolZ, Regnum Carya and BUF Esports completed the six direct qualifiers. Vampire’s 45 elimination points were the highest in the group.

That leaves two different routes for the Southeast Asian teams in Group B. Vampire can prepare for the finals, while Alter Ego must return for Survival. A narrow escape from elimination has kept the Indonesian team’s tournament alive.

Four finals places remain

The Survival Stage on 22 October brings together the teams placed seventh to 14th in each group. Only four of those 16 teams will join the 12 direct qualifiers in the finals on 24–25 October. For 4Thrives, the group-stage exit removes any chance of defending their title this week.
