AC Esports beat Team Rey before their final-day Vamos test
A 2–1 win gives AC back-to-back series victories heading into the last day of the regular season.
AC Esports beat Team Rey 2–1 on 17 October in MPL Malaysia Season 18. The result gives AC a second consecutive series win, following their 2–1 victory over Invictus Gaming on 11 October.
It also changes the outcome of this matchup. Team Rey won their first meeting 2–0 on 23 August. AC have now taken a series from an opponent that previously swept them.
Vamos arrive with a five-series winning run
The next opponent brings a different challenge. Team Vamos beat SRG 2–0 on Friday, extending a run that also includes wins over RRQ, Bigetron MY, Invictus Gaming and FUTURE LEGENDS.
Vamos won the first meeting with AC 2–0 on 6 September. Our reading: Sunday offers AC a useful test of their late-season improvement. Another win would end Vamos’ streak; for Vamos, it is a chance to finish the regular season with six straight series victories.
Sunday’s match starts at 2:30pm
AC Esports face Team Vamos on 18 October at 2:30pm Malaysia time. The official schedule lists RRQ against Bigetron MY at 5pm. Regular-season matches are held at the Level 6 convention centre in Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
