Alter Ego take the last PMGO finals place
A 31-point Miramar win helps the Indonesian side survive the six-match qualifier.
Alter Ego Ares are through to the PMGO Season 2 Grand Finals. Sportskeeda reports that they finished fourth in the Survival Stage on 22 October with 49 points, five ahead of iKURD.
It is a sharp improvement on their group-stage finish. Alter Ego had scored 14 points across six matches in Group B, placing 14th and taking the last available Survival place. That result kept their route to the finals open.
The match that changed their total
According to Sportskeeda, Alter Ego earned 31 points in the fifth match on Miramar, with Rosemary recording ten eliminations. They join fellow Survival qualifiers 4K Esports, Alpha7 and AlUla.
The format left little room to recover: 16 Survival teams played six matches for four places. Those qualifiers join the 12 teams that advanced directly from the groups, completing a 16-team final field.
The finals come next
The Grand Finals are scheduled for 24–25 October in Lahore. PUBG MOBILE Esports has announced a possible additional 13th match under its updated finals rules. The event carries a US$500,000 prize pool.
