Aurora have booked a place in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 grand final after defeating Vitality 2–1 in Barcelona. The upper-bracket final was played on 19 September, with Aurora closing the series on Nuke.

HLTV’s match record gives the full scoreline: Aurora won Anubis 13–7, lost Inferno 11–13 and took Nuke 13–8. Vitality forced a deciding map but could not complete the comeback.

Eight straight rounds changed Anubis

Aurora trailed 5–7 at halftime on Anubis, then won all eight rounds after the side switch. That clean defensive half turned a narrow deficit into the opening-map victory. Across the series, Jimpphat recorded 53 kills and 34 deaths.

According to HLTV’s report, this is the first final for the roster featuring kyxsan, Jimpphat and coach ash, in its fifth event together. The result provides a concrete milestone for that line-up.

Vitality still have a route back

Vitality remain in the tournament and face FURIA for the other final place on 20 September. The winner then meets Aurora in a best-of-five. With a US$500,000 event prize pool, the title is still to be decided; Aurora’s victory secured a final berth, not the trophy.
