All four Chinese teams exit Champions Shanghai without a series win
EDward Gaming and JD Gaming follow TYLOO and Xi Lai Gaming out, leaving the host region with a 0-8 series record.

VCT China has no teams left at VALORANT Champions Shanghai. EDward Gaming and JD Gaming were eliminated on 2 October, a day after TYLOO and Xi Lai Gaming went out.
Global Esports beat EDward Gaming 2-0, winning Summit 13-5 and Sunset 13-6. The Pacific team stayed alive while EDG ended their tournament after two series defeats.
JD Gaming take a map, but T1 advance
T1 defeated JD Gaming 2-1 in the other elimination match. That result completed the exit of all four Chinese representatives, each with a 0-2 series record. Together, they finished with no series wins and eight losses.
TYLOO had lost 1-2 to Team Liquid, while Xi Lai Gaming fell 0-2 to Nongshim RedForce. The four Chinese teams therefore occupy the shared 13th-16th finishing places in the event standings.
Global Esports and T1 still have another test
Riot advances two teams from each group. Global Esports must next face LOUD, and T1 meet FUT Esports in the deciders. Winning an elimination match keeps a team in contention; the decider determines the remaining playoff place.
