Karmine Corp keep Worlds hopes alive and eliminate CTBC Flying Oyster
KC won the 1–2 elimination match 2–0; CFO’s loss ended its Swiss campaign, while KC advanced to the final round.
Karmine Corp beat CTBC Flying Oyster 2–0 in a Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage elimination match reported on 29 October Malaysia time. The victory moved KC from a 1–2 record to 2–2 and secured a place in the final Swiss round; CFO’s third loss eliminated the LCP team.
KC controlled the opener and closed it 19–3 in kills after building an 8,000-gold lead by 20 minutes. Game 2 was closer: CFO built an early advantage and claimed Dragon Soul, but KC won the decisive mid-lane fight and took Baron before finishing the series.
One match remains for a place in the knockout draw
Riot’s official format gives every team five Swiss rounds. Teams need three match wins to advance, while a third loss means elimination. KC now need one more win to reach the Knockout Stage; CFO’s 1–3 finish ends its Worlds run.
The result also keeps the final Swiss round meaningful for several teams around the 2–2 line. KC’s next opponent and exact match time should be checked against Riot’s live schedule as the final round begins on 30 October in Texas.
