Karmine Corp secured the last place in the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage with a 3–0 victory over MVK Esports in the Play-In final. The match was played on 18 October in Los Angeles, during the early hours of 19 October in Malaysia.

KC had begun their campaign by recovering from 1–2 down to beat Cloud9 3–2. They then swept MVK in the upper bracket before repeating that score in the qualification decider. Across those three series, KC won nine games and lost two.

MVK’s second chance ends against the same opponent

MVK reached the final by beating FURIA for a second time, following a 3–0 opening win with a 3–1 lower-bracket victory. That kept the Vietnamese side in contention, but their return meeting with KC ended their tournament.

The two KC–MVK series produced a combined 6–0 score. For viewers following Southeast Asian teams, that is a clear result from this matchup. It does not establish how the LCP’s other representatives will perform when the Swiss Stage begins.

The next stage starts overnight for Malaysia

Riot lists the first Swiss matchday for 23 October at noon in Texas, equivalent to 1am on 24 October in Malaysia. Sixteen teams enter the stage: three match wins earn a knockout place, while three losses mean elimination. KC have cleared the Play-In hurdle and now join that field.
