LOS eliminated Team Liquid from the 2026 League of Legends World Championship with a 2–1 win in the Swiss Stage on 30 October in Texas. The Brazilian team entered the best-of-three at 1–2; the victory moves it to 2–2, while Liquid’s third loss ends its tournament.

The result puts LOS one series win away from the Knockout Stage. Liquid, the LCS representative, leaves after a Swiss run that included a 2–0 win over Anyone’s Legend earlier in the week, but it could not survive the elimination round.

Strafe reported the result as a major upset and confirmed the 2–1 score. Riot’s Worlds format requires three match wins to advance and eliminates teams after three losses, making this series a direct survival test for both sides.

LOS will need one more series win to qualify for the eight-team knockout bracket. The result adds another non-LCK/LPL team to the final Swiss-round fight, while Team Liquid’s Worlds campaign is over.
