LOS kept their 2026 League of Legends World Championship run alive with a 2–0 win over Team Secret Whales in Swiss Round 3 on 26 October in the United States. The Brazilian side entered the best-of-three at 0–2; another loss would have ended its tournament.

Strafe identifies the Vietnamese squad as the LCP’s top seed, while Riot’s primer lists TSW among the LCP teams and LOS among Brazil’s CBLOL representatives.

A turnaround after an early TSW lead

Team Secret Whales started Game 1 ahead, but LOS recovered around a Baron fight and closed the map 14–9 in kills. In Game 2, LOS built control and won 22–13, completing the sweep.

For LOS, the victory was its first of the tournament after opening losses to T1 and G2 Esports. It moves the team to 1–2 and into another elimination series; the win keeps its route to the knockout stage open, but does not secure qualification.

One more loss ends the run

Riot’s Swiss format requires three match wins to advance and eliminates a team after three losses. LOS will need two more wins to reach the knockout stage. Team Secret Whales, meanwhile, leave Worlds without a series victory.
