Malaysia take HOK silver after China win the Asian Games final 4–0
Captain Lee Han Siang points to technical and strategic improvements after the final.

Malaysia won Honor of Kings silver at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on 28 September, losing 0–4 to China at Aichi Sky Expo. Bernama reports that the result met the squad’s pre-departure medal target.
Lee Han Siang captained a lineup featuring Chen Tat Yann, Lim Chee Hong, Chong Han Hui and Ryan Na Jie Rong. The final closed their challenge for gold.
The route through the semi-final
Malaysia had beaten Hong Kong, China to reach the final. RTHK reports that Hong Kong shared bronze with the Philippines because the competition had no third-place playoff.
In Bernama’s post-final interview, Lee attributed the defeat to technical and strategic shortcomings. He said the team had opportunities in the games but needed further training to turn those opportunities into wins.
What the captain wants to improve
Lee identified technical execution and game strategy as priorities for challenging China again. His assessment gives the silver medal a practical follow-up: using the experience of this final to prepare for future tournaments.
