Malaysia finished first in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Group B at the Asian Games on 29 September. Stadium Astro reports a 2–0 win over Indonesia followed by a 2–1 victory against Saudi Arabia.

The national squad features Yums, Sekyss, Cikugais, Stormie, Unii and Sizkaa. Its two series wins secured a place in the quarter-finals.

The format changes after the groups

MOONTON’s format sends the top two teams from each group into a single-elimination bracket. Quarter-finals and semi-finals use best-of-three series, while the gold-medal final expands to best-of-seven. A playoff series defeat therefore ends the route to gold.

JESU lists the final session for 1 October, from 14:00 to 19:00 in Japan. That converts to 1pm–6pm in Malaysia. It is the session window, not confirmation of Malaysia’s participation or an individual match start time.

Two series wins, with one game dropped

Saudi Arabia took one game in their series, as the match record confirms. Malaysia’s group campaign was unbeaten in series, but not in individual games. The next task is to carry that winning record into the knockout bracket.
