MIBR GC beat SK Nebula 2–0 in the lower bracket of the Game Changers Championship in São Paulo on 28 October local time (29 October in Malaysia). They took Summit 13–0, then closed the best-of-three with a 13–4 win on Lotus.

The result keeps MIBR in the title race after the team dropped into the lower bracket. SK Nebula’s loss ends its championship run; Riot’s event format gives teams a second path after an earlier defeat, but another lower-bracket loss means elimination.

A perfect defensive half on SK’s map pick

SK Nebula selected Summit, but MIBR won all 12 rounds of the first half before taking the one round it needed on attack. MIBR then carried the momentum onto its own Lotus pick and finished the series 13–4.

VLR’s match record confirms the 2–0 and both map scores. Riot says the championship uses double elimination, with best-of-three matches through the initial bracket rounds. MIBR return for another lower-bracket series on 30 October; SK Nebula leave the event.
