MIBR GC beat G2 Gozen 2–0 to reach Game Changers upper semis
The Brazilian side won Ascent 13–11 and Lotus 13–10, sending G2 into the lower bracket rather than out of the championship.

MIBR GC defeated G2 Gozen 2–0 in the upper-bracket quarter-final at the Game Changers Championship in São Paulo on 24 October. The match report recorded a 13–11 win on Ascent and a 13–10 win on Lotus.
G2 entered directly at this round after winning EMEA Stage 3. MIBR had already opened its campaign with a 2–0 win over FENNEL, so the result keeps the Brazilian team unbeaten in the championship so far.
MIBR advances; G2 still has a route
The win moves MIBR into the upper-bracket semifinal against Gentle Mates GC. The team’s post-match announcement lists the next match for 27 October at 3 p.m. Brasília time, or 2 a.m. on 28 October in Malaysia.
G2 drops to the lower bracket, where another loss would end its tournament. The 0–2 result is an upper-bracket setback, not an elimination from the event.
A host-region win over a former champion
MIBR’s two close map wins put one of Brazil’s representatives into the next upper-bracket round, while G2 must now take the longer lower-bracket path. The championship continues in São Paulo through 1 November.
