MidOne appears on Team Liquid’s roster for BLAST Slam VIII
The organizer’s list confirms his place for the event, with Yakult Brothers first on Liquid’s schedule.
MidOne is listed in Team Liquid’s five-player lineup for BLAST Slam VIII. BLAST’s roster announcement on 25 September places him alongside m1CKe, Wisper, Boxi and tOfu, with Blitz coaching the team.
The list confirms who Liquid intend to field at this event. It does not explain the change or establish a permanent transfer, so any claim about the team’s long-term midlane plan would go beyond the announcement.
The first match crosses midnight in Malaysia
Liquid open against Yakult Brothers at 18:00 CEST on 29 September. For Malaysian viewers, that is midnight at the start of 30 September. Aurora Gaming and GamerLegion are the other teams in Group D.
The expanded competition has 16 teams. BLAST’s format introduces four GSL groups with best-of-three matches, giving this lineup a full series for its opening test rather than a single game.
A route towards Malta
The reworked event starts online before the last six teams reach a four-day live finals stage at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. Its combined US$750,000 pool comprises US$550,000 in prize money and US$200,000 in team earnings, according to BLAST.
