Malaysia's Honor of Kings league is back this week, and two teams have yet to lose a series. Geekay Esports and ROC Esports both sit at 7-0 ahead of the MKL Fall regular season's return on 15 October.

The published schedule pauses league matches from 14 September to 14 October for Asian Games preparations and competition. The remaining regular-season fixtures run through 18 October; the wider tournament continues into November.

A direct meeting to watch on 17 October

Geekay face CRIT VIP on 15 October, while ROC meet Reach the Peak Gaming on 16 October. Their head-to-head is listed for 17 October. Both therefore have another opponent to get past before that meeting can become a clash of unbeaten teams.

Geekay currently hold a 21-1 game record, with ROC on 21-2. The narrow difference gives their meeting an obvious storyline, although the final table will depend on all remaining results.

What the final league week decides

The published format sends the top two directly to the playoffs. Teams finishing third to sixth take the play-in route, while seventh to tenth are eliminated. Thursday's other fixtures are SLxDTE Gaming against Reach the Peak Gaming and Zem Nothing Syndicate MY against XDG Esports. For viewers returning after the break, those qualification routes explain why the rest of the schedule matters too.
