MOUZ beat Spirit 2–0 on 5 October to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 24 playoffs. They took Dust2 13–5 and Mirage 13–11.

According to HLTV, the result ended Spirit’s run of 32 consecutive Swiss group-stage match wins. Their previous defeat in that format came 668 days earlier, against FURIA at the Shanghai Major. That streak covers Swiss matches, rather than every match Spirit played.

Three series, six maps won

MOUZ finished the Swiss stage at 3–0 after beating M80, FURIA and Spirit, each by a 2–0 scoreline. They arrive at the playoffs without a map loss in this stage.

Spirit entered the meeting at 2–0 as well. The defeat leaves them at 2–1, still in the tournament and seeking another win to qualify.

The next stage begins on 9 October

ESL’s format sends eight teams into single-elimination playoffs at Spodek in Katowice, running from 9 to 11 October. Those matches are best of three, with a best-of-five grand final.
