MPL MY day puts VMS–BTRM on the line as Rey and SRG chase the first M8 berth
Team Vamos face Bigetron MY at 3pm, then Team Rey meet SRG at 7pm; the upper-final winner reaches the grand final and secures Malaysia’s first M8 place.
MPL Malaysia Season 18 playoffs return to Stadium Juara on 30 October with two best-of-five matches. Team Vamos and Bigetron MY by VIT meet in the lower-bracket semi-final at 3pm Malaysia time; the loser is eliminated.
At 7pm, Team Rey face Selangor Red Giants in the upper-bracket final. The winner advances directly to the grand final on 1 November. MOONTON says the league offers two direct places at the M8 World Championship, and Bernama reports that both grand finalists qualify, so tonight’s winner will claim the first Malaysian berth.
The upper seeds arrive after matching 3–0 sweeps
Team Rey reached the upper final by beating Team Vamos 3–0, while SRG also swept Bigetron MY 3–0. Their earlier results set up a meeting between the top two regular-season seeds, while VMS and BTRM now have to win to keep their title bids alive.
The official MPL schedule lists both matches as best-of-five and confirms the 3pm and 7pm starts at Stadium Juara. The lower-bracket winner will face the upper-final loser on 31 October for the remaining route to the grand final.
