Vamos face Rey for the last MPL MY grand-final place
Team Vamos swept Bigetron 3–1; the lower-bracket final winner meets SRG in Sunday’s Season 18 final.
Team Vamos beat Bigetron MY by VIT 3–1 in the MPL Malaysia Season 18 lower-bracket semi-final on 30 October. The result keeps Vamos in the title race and sends Bigetron out of the playoffs.
Vamos now meet Team Rey in the lower-bracket final on 31 October at Stadium Juara. The best-of-seven winner advances to Sunday’s grand final against Selangor Red Giants, who secured the upper-bracket spot with a 3–0 win over Team Rey.
A rematch with a final place at stake
Team Rey have already beaten Vamos 3–0 in the upper-bracket semi-final, so the lower final gives Vamos a chance to answer that result. The official MPL schedule lists the series for 5:30pm Malaysia time as a best-of-seven.
MOONTON says Season 18 awards two direct places at the M8 World Championship. The grand-finalists are the teams in those qualification positions, so the winner of Vamos–Rey will join SRG and keep a shot at the domestic title.
