A place in the PMGO Season 2 finals can now come down to a 4v4 fight on Warehouse. The new Team Deathmatch tiebreaker applies when teams finish level on points at a qualification cutoff in the Group or Survival Stage.

Group B plays its six matches on 21 October. The top six advance directly to the finals; seventh to 14th enter Survival on 22 October, where four more places are available. The bottom two in each group are eliminated.

How the shootout works

The tiebreaker is best-of-three. Each round goes to the first team to reach 15 eliminations, or the team ahead when time expires. If the round ends level, the last elimination decides the winner. For teams caught at the cutoff, close-range fighting becomes the final qualification test.

The finals run on 24–25 October in Lahore. Before Match 7, a themed-map showmatch gives its winner the right to ban one of three possible maps for an extra decider. That choice could matter later, but it does not automatically add a match.

Match 13 has a condition

The extra match is played only if no champion has been crowned under SMASH rules after Match 12. The leader at that point chooses between the two remaining maps. Viewers should therefore watch both the title situation and the map decision, rather than assume the final will always last 13 matches.
