PUBG pros take on racing and glider battles at Asia Stars this week
Six regional squads compete across nine modes, with all three broadcasts starting at 7pm Malaysian time.

PUBG’s next regional showdown sends players into races, glider fights and obstacle courses. PUBG Asia Stars starts on 17 September, bringing professional players, PUBG Partners and streamers together for a competition built around several ways to play BATTLEGROUNDS.
China, Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Vietnam each field an eight-player squad. The 48 participants compete across eight Playgrounds modes and one Platoon Battle Royale, with cumulative points deciding the final standings. The overall placement prize pool is US$70,000.
The unfamiliar modes are the attraction
The lineup includes Circuit Racing, crossbow target shooting and an aerial fight using Motor Gliders. A battle royale played by eight-player squads completes the list of nine modes. That variety gives viewers a different question to follow: which squad can keep collecting points when the challenge changes?
For Malaysian viewers, broadcasts begin at 7pm on 17, 19 and 20 September. The official event page links to the regional channels, including Thailand and Vietnam. The published lineup contains six regions; Malaysia is not listed. KRAFTON describes the tournament as inspired by the Asian Games, while this event has its own regional teams and format.
Prediction voting closes before the first broadcast
PC players who want to join the accompanying prediction event have until 3pm Malaysian time on 16 September. The official page requires a linked KRAFTON ID, at least 30 minutes of eligible playtime and one voting ticket. A completed vote earns a PUBG Varsity Jacket; a correct prediction enters a draw for G-COIN. Getting the winner right does not guarantee that draw prize. Check the event page for eligibility and the latest terms before participating.
