Riot asks Champions Shanghai players to use wired mice
A temporary response to interference puts equipment reliability back in focus.

Riot's 1 October update asks all Champions Shanghai players to use wired mice while it addresses recurring interference. Its plan includes replacing the custom metal desks with desks made from different materials.
The request is temporary. The statement, reproduced by VALORANT News Japan, does not establish that the replacement work is complete.
A rollback error, but the result stands
PC Gamer reports that Riot also acknowledged a missed round rollback involving FUT's xeus against 100 Thieves. Riot accepted responsibility for the error and kept the result.
VLR records a 2-0 win for 100 Thieves on 30 September in the Group A winners' match. The result secured their playoff place and sent FUT into the decider.
FUT still have a route to the playoffs
FUT are scheduled to face T1 on 4 October for the group's remaining place. The equipment update explains the organiser's response; it does not establish how that series will play out.
