Royal Bear beat Xipto Esports 3–1 in the Southeast Asia closed-qualifier final for DreamLeague Season 30 on 17 October. The best-of-five result was recorded by GosuGamers and corroborated by CyberScore’s match data.

Xipto won the opening game before Royal Bear took the next three. The comeback completed a run through the closed qualifier without a series defeat.

Familiar names on Royal Bear’s lineup

The match records list Ghost, MidOne, Raven, Tims and xNova for Royal Bear. MidOne’s presence gives fans who have followed his recent Dota 2 appearances another team to watch in the region.

Before the final, Royal Bear beat Execration, Direborn Esports and InterActive Philippines 2–0 each. Adding the final gives them nine game wins and one loss across those four closed-qualifier series.

A heavy opening loss did not settle the series

CyberScore records an 8–39 kill score for Royal Bear in the opener, then a 40–19 score in the fourth game. The series offers a clearer measure than the opening score alone: Royal Bear recovered to win three games, while Xipto could not convert that early advantage into a series victory.
