S8UL sweep the KIC qualifier as SouL secure a PMGC route

A 4–0 Honor of Kings final and a BGMI Showdown title send two separate S8UL rosters towards international competition.

S8UL’s Honor of Kings team booked its KIC 2026 place by beating Revenant XSpark 4–0 in the India qualifier final on 18 October. HoK Esports confirmed the qualification in its announcement that day.

The result completed a run without a series defeat. S8UL had beaten Off Meta Gaming 2–0, Revenant XSpark 2–1, Avalanche 2–0 and Reckoning Esports 3–0 before the final. The earlier meeting with Revenant was the only series in which they dropped a game.

A second roster wins its own global opportunity

S8UL’s BGMI side, iQOO SouL, also won BGMI Showdown 2026. Khel Now reports that SouL finished the three-day finals with 155 points, including 103 eliminations. LEGIT earned Finals MVP with 33 finishes across 18 matches.

SouL’s own announcement identifies the next global destination as the PMGC Gauntlet. That is separate from the Honor of Kings roster’s KIC qualification: the organisation has two teams advancing through different game circuits.

Two wins, different measures

The two results measure different things: Honor of Kings is decided through head-to-head series, while SouL’s BGMI total combines elimination and placement points. Their qualifying wins offer a reason to follow both squads, but the scores cannot be compared as a single ranking.
