SRG sweep AC Esports 2–0 before the final day ahead of MPL MY’s break
Team Rey are next at 5pm on 20 September, before the league pauses for the Asian Games.
Selangor Red Giants beat AC Esports 2–0 on 19 September in MPL Malaysia Season 18. The result gives SRG another series win before their final match ahead of the league’s Asian Games break.
SRG carry a substantial record into this stretch. Their official MPL profile lists four consecutive domestic titles and the MSC 2024 championship. Those achievements explain the attention around their matches; they do not settle the next result.
One more series before the pause
The official schedule lists SRG against Team Rey at 5pm on Sunday, 20 September. Bigetron MY and Invictus Gaming open the day at 2.30pm. All times here are Malaysia time.
For fans attending SRG’s match, gates are scheduled to open at 4.15pm at the MPL MY Arena, Level 6 of Quill City Mall. Check the organiser’s schedule for updates before travelling.
The league returns on a Thursday
The announced break runs from 21 September to 4 October. The next listed match day is Thursday, 8 October: the Saturday programme has been moved because of MLBB’s tenth-anniversary break on 10 October. That Thursday return is the date to keep in the calendar.
