T1 are out of VALORANT Champions Shanghai after a 2-1 defeat to G2 Esports on 11 October. With T1 eliminated, none of the four Pacific representatives remain in the title race.

G2 took Lotus 13-11, then T1 levelled the series with a 13-10 win on Abyss. Ascent would decide which team stayed in the tournament.

A level first half becomes a one-sided finish

The teams reached halftime on Ascent at 6-6. G2 then won all seven remaining rounds to close the map 13-6. T1 had forced a decider, but could not take another round after the side switch.

T1 finish joint fifth-sixth alongside NRG, who lost 2-0 to 100 Thieves in the other lower-bracket match that day. Both defeats end those teams’ campaigns under the double-elimination format.

Four teams remain, with play resuming on 16 October

The bracket now contains LOUD, Team Vitality, G2 and 100 Thieves. Riot’s regional team list places three in Americas and Vitality in EMEA. The published schedule has Vitality facing LOUD in the upper final and 100 Thieves meeting G2 in the lower bracket on 16 October.
