Team Nemesis exit BLAST Slam VIII after 0-2 loss to 1win
The NAVI win kept Nemesis alive, but 1win ended their Group B run.
Team Nemesis are out of BLAST Slam VIII after losing 0-2 to 1win in the Group B lower-bracket final. The organiser lists the match under 2 October.
BLAST's match record shows that 1win took the opening game in 38 minutes and 43 seconds before completing the series victory. Nemesis had no remaining route through the group.
One win, two defeats
Nemesis began with a 1-2 loss to Team Spirit, then beat NAVI 2-1 to stay in contention. That recovery earned another elimination match, where 1win stopped their run.
1win had beaten NAVI 2-1 in their opener and lost 0-2 to Spirit. Their victory over Nemesis therefore secured second place, while Spirit had already won the group.
Second place means Last Chance
BLAST's format sends the four group runners-up into Last Chance, with only two advancing to the six-team finals in Malta. For 1win, this result cleared another qualifying step; for Nemesis, it ended their tournament.
