Thailand take NARAKA silver after a five-game fight to reach the final
A 3–2 semi-final win over Vietnam leads to Thailand’s first esports medal of these Asian Games.

Thailand won NARAKA: BLADEPOINT silver at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on 24 September, losing 0–3 to China in the final at Aichi Sky Expo.
Their route to the gold-medal match went the distance. Thailand edged Vietnam 3–2 in the semi-final, securing the country’s first esports medal at the 2026 Games, according to Khaosod English.
China also swept the other semi-final
CNA reports that Chinese Taipei lost 0–3 to China in the other semi-final and received bronze. Reaching the last four had already guaranteed Chinese Taipei a podium place.
For viewers new to NARAKA, the game centres on survival and martial arts-inspired close combat. CNA describes its objective as outlasting opponents to become the last player standing.
NARAKA’s medal event is complete
The two-day competition ran on 23–24 September. A Hangzhou government report identifies NARAKA and Identity V: Asian Games Version as two NetEase titles on the programme; Identity V is scheduled for 28–30 September.
