Thailand won PUBG MOBILE gold at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on 29 September with 128 points. China took silver on 114 and Pakistan bronze on 100, Khaosod English reports.

Thailand entered the second day in first place, then added a Game 8 Chicken Dinner with 11 eliminations. They remained top after all 12 games.

China move ahead of Pakistan in the last game

SBS reports that China overtook Pakistan in the final game and secured its Chicken Dinner by defeating Vietnam. That late change decided silver and bronze while Thailand retained the overall lead.

The same report describes Myanmar eliminating Thailand late in that final game. Thailand still finished with gold, illustrating how the accumulated points across the competition can outweigh the outcome of its last match.

More esports medals remain on the schedule

The PUBG MOBILE podium is settled, but the wider esports programme continues. JESU lists Identity V’s medal stage on 30 September, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s final on 1 October and League of Legends’ final on 2 October.
