Team Vitality will face LOUD in the VALORANT Champions 2026 grand final. They beat 100 Thieves 3–1 on 17 October, ending the North American team’s tournament in third place.

The series began badly for Vitality: 100 Thieves won Split 13–5. Vitality then took the next three maps to close the best-of-five without needing a fifth.

A quick return to the LOUD matchup

LOUD await in the final after beating Vitality 2–1 in Friday’s upper final. That loss sent Vitality into the elimination match against 100 Thieves; Saturday’s result has brought them back into contention for the title.

Our reading: the new result makes the final more compelling because Vitality have answered the upper-final setback with a series win. It does not tell us who will win the rematch, but both teams now have a recent meeting to prepare from.

The title is decided on 18 October

Riot’s official programme places the grand final at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena on 18 October. A new agent reveal is scheduled on the broadcast before the final, alongside the opening ceremony. The championship result remains open as this article is published.
