Wolves win PMGO as AK Gold finish with more points
Wolves crossed the Smash Rule target and won Match 12; their 86 points were below AK Gold’s 94.

Wolves Esports won the PUBG Mobile Global Open Season 2 Grand Finals in Lahore on 25 October with a Chicken Dinner in Match 12, after reaching match point earlier in the day. That last win ended the event.
AK Gold Esports finished with the highest total, 94 points, ahead of 4K Esports on 88. Wolves had 86, but the title followed the Smash Rule rather than the cumulative points table.
The 67-point threshold was only half the rule
The target was set at 67 points, ten above Horaa Esports’ 57-point lead after Day 1. Reaching the target made a squad eligible to win; it still needed a Chicken Dinner. Wolves reached the target in Match 10 and secured the required win in Match 12.
AK Gold’s total remained highest, but points alone did not determine the champion. The distinction matters when reading a match-point final: the title goes to the first eligible team to win a match.
A Match 13 was not needed
Wolves ended the final in Match 12, so the publisher’s announced Match 13 contingency did not come into play. AK Gold placed second, and 4K Esports third; both had more points than the champions.
