For Malaysian viewers, the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage begins at 1 am on Saturday, 24 October. Riot lists the opening session at noon on 23 October in Allen, Texas: the 13-hour difference moves it into the following day in Malaysia.

Gen.G versus Invictus Gaming opens the round. The draw also pairs Hanwha Life Esports with TOP Esports, Bilibili Gaming with Movistar KOI, Anyone’s Legend with Karmine Corp, and G2 with Dplus KIA. All eight opening matches are best-of-one.

The LCP teams play later in the morning

Strafe lists Team Liquid Alienware–CTBC Flying Oyster at 6 am Malaysia time, followed by LOS–T1 at 7 am and Team Secret Whales–LYON at 8 am on 24 October. Treat the later times as scheduled slots that can move with the broadcast.

Sixteen teams are competing for eight knockout places. Three match wins take a team through; three losses eliminate it. Subsequent rounds pair teams with the same record. A first-round defeat therefore changes the next draw pool without immediately ending a team’s campaign.

One game now, longer series when qualification is at stake

Matches that decide progression or elimination use best-of-three series; other Swiss matches are best-of-one. For viewers planning around the LCP representatives, check the live schedule again before their matches rather than assuming every earlier game will finish within its slot.
